2024 Election

Official Town Election Results

Presidential Primary: Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Last Day to register to Vote is Saturday, February 24, 2024.
Town Caucus: March 18, 2024, Last day to Register to Vote is March 8, 2024 to vote at the Caucus.
Early in Person Voting at Town Hall, 38 Church St. will be Saturday, February 24, 2024 9am to 1pm, February 27th, 28th & 29th during regular business hours.
Presidential Primary: Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Last Day to register to Vote is Saturday, February 24, 2024.
Town Election: May 6, 2024 
State Primary: September 3, 2024
General Election: November 5, 2024

Town Census

The annual town census is mailed at the beginning of January. It is important that the census be returned because it is a state requirement and provides proof of residence, protection of voting rights, veterans bonus, housing for the elderly, planning for future school population, and selection of jurors.

Dog Licensing

Dog license applications are mailed with the annual town census in January.  Dog licensing and updated rabies certificates are required by MGL 140 Section 136. Annual licensing starts in January and licenses expire by March 31st the following year. Late fees are assessed as of June 1st.
