SPECIAL TOWN ELECTION JUNE 25, 2024, 11AM TO 7PM AT TOWN HALL. EARLY IN PERSON VOTING JUNE 18TH & 20TH 9AM TO 1PM EACH DAY. BALLOTS HAVE BEEN MAILED TO THOSE WHO RESPONDED WANTING VOTE BY MAIL FOR ALL ELECTIONS THIS YEAR. ONE QUESTION ON THE BALLOT IN REGARDS TO PURCHASE OF A NEW FIRE TRUCK TO REPLACE AN OLDER ONE REQUIRING A PROPOSITION 2 1/2 OVERRIDE VOTE. BALLOTS MUST BE RETURNED BY 7PM ON JUNE 25TH AT THE TOWN HALL. THE DROP BOX WILL BE CLEANED OUT AT 7PM TO COLLECT BALLOTS LEFT THERE. POSTMARK DOES NOT COUNT.
The Town Clerk office has performed a mass inactivation of registered voters who have not returned the annual town census. This process is required by state law. If you receive a post card in the mail please check the appropriate box, sign the card and return it to the town clerk. Your voter status will then be updated to active. If you do not return the card the next time you come to vote you will need to complete an affidavit of residency before voting. Please return the card, this will save time!!
